UCP 600 ระบุว่า…..
“A presentation consisting of more than one set of transport document evidencing shipment commencing on the same means of conveyance and for the same journey, provided they indicate the same destination, will not be regarded as covering a partial shipment, even if they indicate different dates of shipment or different ports of loading, place of taking in charge or dispatch. If the presentation consists of more than one set of transport document, the latest date of shipment as evidenced on any set of transport documents will be regarded as the date of shipment.
A presentation consists of one or more sets of transport documents evidencing shipment on more than one means of conveyance within the same mode of transport will be regarded as covering a partial shipment, even if the means of conveyance leave on the same day for the same destination.”

ขอสรุปอย่างนี้ละกันครับ
ส่วนแรกของกฎข้อนี้ หมายความว่า…
การยื่นเอกสารต่อธนาคาร เพื่อขอขึ้นเงินในแต่ละครั้ง
( “A presentation” )
“แม้ว่ามีการยื่นเอกสารการขนส่ง
(เช่น B/L) มากกว่า 1 ฉบับ (1 set)”
ยกตัวอย่างเช่น
สินค้าที่ส่งมี 100 ชิ้น
มีการยื่น B/L 2 ฉบับ (2 sets)
ฉบับละ 50 ชิ้น เป็นต้น
การที่จะพิจารณาว่าแบบไหนถือว่า
เป็นการ partial shipment แบบไหนถือว่าไม่เป็นการ partial shipment นั้น ให้พิจารณาว่า…
หากเอกสารการขนส่ง แสดงข้อมูลว่า
การจัดส่งนั้น :
1) เป็นพาหนะขนส่งเดียวกัน
่ (same means of conveyance)
2) เป็นเที่ยวการเดินทางเดียวกัน
(same journey)
3) ไปปลายทางเดียวกัน
(same destination)
ก็จะ
“ถือว่าไม่เป็นการ partial shipment”
แม้ว่า
วันที่จัดส่งจะเป็นคนละวันกันก็ตาม
(even if they indicate different dates of shipment)
หรือ
ต้นทางต่างกันก็ตาม
(or different ports of loading, place of taking in charge or dispatch)
มาดูตัวอย่างกันดีกว่า
สมมุติว่ามี B/L 2 ฉบับ…
ฉบับแรก ระบุข้อมูลดังต่อไปนี้
1) สินค้าถูกส่งโดยเรือ ชื่อว่า ไททาเนี่ยม
2) เที่ยวการเดินทางที่ 555
3) ปลายทางคือท่าเรือ อู๊ดพอร์ท
4) วันที่จัดส่งคือ 10 August 2010
5) ต้นทางคือท่าเรือ ตือพอร์ท
ฉบับที่สอง ระบุข้อมูลดังต่อไปนี้
1) สินค้าถูกส่งโดยเรือ ชื่อว่า ไททาเนี่ยม
2) เที่ยวการเดินทางที่ 555
3) ปลายทางคือท่าเรือ อู๊ดพอร์ท
4) วันที่จัดส่งคือ 11 August 2010
5) ต้นทางคือท่าเรือ ตือบะพอร์ท
จะเห็นว่า B/L 2 ฉบับนี้
ระบุข้อมูลข้อ 1, 2, 3 เหมือนกัน
แม้ว่า 4, 5 จะต่างกัน
ก็จะ
“ถือว่าไม่เป็นการ partial shipment”
